WHERE ARE WE?
Boesmanskraal Safaris is situated at the origin of the Limpopo River near Rooibokkraal, at the confluence of the Crocodile and Marico river.
This area is renowned for having exceptional trophy animals. Being on the Limpopo River affords the opportunity to hunt both Hippo and Crocodile in the same area as you hunt your plains game.
The concessions are set next to the Botswana border in the most picturesque part of the Bushveld in a Malaria and Bilharzia free environment.
WHO ARE WE?
Lodge co-owner and Outfitter Renier Els, a trophy hunter himself was born and raised on a farm in the Rooibokkraal area.
“Boesman” the Afrikaans word for bushmen refers to one of South Africa’s oldest tribes. The bushmen are renowned trackers and hunters, and it is here where we find the similarities. Our handpicked team of Professional Hunters are equipped with all the skills used by the Bushmen.
BOESMANSKRAAL SAFARIS
Boesmanskraal Lodge and Game Ranch offers quality trophy hunting, including Sable Antelope, Kudu and Livingstone’s Eland, Buffalo and Nyala, in addition to many other species of plains game.
This ranch of 12km² only has perimeter fencing and is not divided into camps.
We also arrange exciting day trips for non-hunters which provide the ideal opportunity to bring along your loved ones on the African Adventure. This includes elephant interactions, lion walks, big 5 viewing in some of South Africa’s best reserves and luxurious Spa excursions.

Highlights: My father fulfilling his lifelong dream by taking a magnificent Cape buffalo, the “Black Death” after several dedicating days of tracking. Completing my spiral horn slam with a huge eland on rifle and a stunning trophy nyala with the bow.
My wife, Stephanie, harvesting a gorgeous golden wildebeest on the very first morning followed by an epic roan toward the end of our stay.
